Thornton’s McAllister Park Center is site for the community’s Dia de los Muertos celebration (Day of the Dead) on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from noon to 5 p.m. The FREE event features an artisan market, face painting, live Mariachi and Salsa music, youth dancers, food vendors and a Catrina costume contest with prizes.
Don’t forget to bring your ancestor picture for the ofrenda! This traditional altar is being designed by the Mexican Culture Center.
Come dressed as your favorite Catrina for a fun afternoon with family and friends!
