For the first time, the Denver Young Artists Orchestra (DYAO) will host a Fall Festival. Fortissimo 2022 is Saturday, October 8, 2022, from noon to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of First Plymouth Church. The FREE festival promises food, games, and live entertainment by DYAO artists, of course.
Other events include a pumpkin carving contest, caramel apple decorating and a chance to “Pie-a-Maestro!”
Smoked chicken and pork sliders and vegetarian black bean chili will be available from KT’s BBQ. Or try some eats from Tony P’s Pizzeria. Nothing Bundt Cakes has donated desserts. Proceeds will go to DYAO’s scholarship fund.
Attendees may also win prizes including Colorado Symphony tickets to The Nightmare Before Christmas, Amazon and Starbucks gift cards and other items.
Ticket bundles will be on sale — 10 for $10, 25 for $20, 50 for $40 — which can be used towards food, beverages, raffle items and more.
