Everyone is looking for safe fun this holiday season. Here’s one FREE option. Western Governors University (WGU) has organized a vehicle-based Holiday Scavenger Hunt that will take you to iconic Denver locations. Teams compete in holly, jolly trivia and challenges. You and your family can have an out-of-the-house adventure AND safely see the sights of Denver. Plus, you might win one of three fantastic prizes!
The Holiday Hunt is up and running and ends January 2. Participants can access the Denver Holiday Hunt through the Let’s Roam app, which also includes all the event details.
The locations showcase iconic Denver landmarks, holiday spots, locally owned businesses and institutions special to WGU. Along with finding the locations, each spot has its own unique challenge to complete.
Here’s how it works:
1. Download the Let’s Roam App and create your login
2. Use join code WGUHUNT20 to access the WGU Scavenger Hunt
3. Create your team and start your hunt!
4. Complete as many challenges as you can in 48 hours (the timer will start when your team joins the hunt)
Teams earn points over the course of the scavenger hunt, which must be completed in a 48-hour period. At the conclusion of the hunt, the top teams will receive prizes.
Prize packages include a food tour, gift cards, free tickets and certificates to local restaurants and museums.
WGU is asking all participants to wear a face mask during this event and teams consist of only single households. The hunt has been designed so everyone can participate from the safety of their car as they travel from one location to the next.
