POSTED BY
Bryan

In celebration of Denver Arts Week, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is thanking residents in the seven-county Denver metro area for their support over the past 20 months with reduced-priced tickets to two favorite holiday productions: A Christmas Carol and Camp Christmas. The discounted tickets go on sale on Tuesday, November 9 at noon.

Through the DCPAccess program, made possible by citizen support through the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD), the DCPA provides a limited number of reduced-priced tickets to the community to select DCPA productions.

DCPAccess tickets for A Christmas Carol will be $10 (for select performances) and tickets for Camp Christmas will be $5. (Note: There is a service fee of $1.50 per ticket.) Limit four tickets per show.

Tickets can only be purchased online at denvercenter.org/dcpaccess. The number of discounted tickets is limited and only available while supplies last.

Camp Christmas

When: November 18 to January 2, 2022

Where: Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park

Price: Tickets range from $8 to $25

Leave your worries behind and immerse yourself in DCPA’s biggest holiday experience ever. Journey through artist Lonnie Hanzon’s fantastical wonderland of lights, dazzling decorations, music and memorabilia — as you explore mesmerizing yuletide scenes spread across a six-acre landscape.

Visit Santa’s Glampsite and share your Christmas wishes with the man himself. (Select days only; special Santa Visit ticket required.) Sip seasonal cocktails and craft hot cocoa.

Discover jolly jokes at 23 pun trees, collect virtual Merry Badges and enjoy our complimentary audio tour. Snag the perfect holiday photo as you immerse yourself in extraordinary holiday installations, located within and around authentic historic buildings from Denver’s past.

Camp Christmas is an opportunity to rediscover the holiday spirit in a fun, whimsical way.

A Christmas Carol

When: November 19 to December 26

Where: Wolf Theatre

Price: Tickets start at $30

Essential to the holiday season in Denver, A Christmas Carol is a joyous and opulent musical adaptation that traces money-hoarding curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge’s triumphant overnight journey to redemption.

Based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, the DCPA Theatre Company’s production illuminates the meaning of the holiday season in a way that has resonated for generations.
