Talk about the art of chili… Groundworks Art Lab (formerly known as Studio Arts Boulder) hosts its street party, Chili Bowl 2025 on Sunday, September 14, 2025. The event will span the entire block in front of the historic Fire Station #2, home to the Pottery Lab. The street fair is open to the public from noon to 5 p.m.

Chefs from local restaurants will compete in a chili competition using more than 500 bowls hand made by pottery lab students, staff, and volunteers.
Purchase a handmade, souvenir ceramic chili bowl for $25 and get five tastings of chili, as well as one vote for People’s Choice Awards. Additional samples cost extra.
Taste them all. Then cast your vote to pick who will go home with the title this year.
The event will also include craft beer and live music.
Local arts organizations will also be on hand with art sales, demonstrations and art-making activities for all ages. The Pottery Lab studio will be open for its fall sale.
