From Tuesday to Thursday, October 10 to 12, its sole Denver location (1620 Wazee St.) is throwing back prices to its original 1992 prices — a bowl of Stir-Fry at lunch for $7.99 and an unlimited bowl for $10.99. Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Dinner Stir-Fry bowls and unlimited soup & salad will be available for $10.99 and an unlimited bowl for $13.99.) In addition, dine-in customers will receive $5 in Mongo Money during the birthday celebration.

Apparently, National Fossil Day is this coming week. Thanks to the popularity of coffee, there are many choices (and prices) to sip on nowadays. It seems every restaurant offers some sort of “coffee bar” or specialty coffee drinks. For budget-conscious coffee drinkers, McDonald’s is offering any small McCafé beverage for $2. Here’s a deal that should sound sweet to young classical music lovers age 18 to 35. The Arapahoe Philharmonic has unveiled a new ticket package. “Pay Your Age” includes four tickets to be used at any of its concerts for the cost of the purchaser’s age. So, if you are 30-years-old, you pay $30 and receive four concert tickets — that’s $30 for up to $120 worth of tickets. Founded in 1953, the Arapahoe Philharmonic is among the longest-established, continuously operating musical resources in Colorado. The orchestra’s musicians are volunteers, playing for the love of music, with a core of compensated section principals who provide technical leadership and help ensure the excellence of performance. Concerts feature repertoire spanning the centuries, from the great masters to current day composers. Most concerts are performed at Fisher Auditorium on the Englewood High School campus.
