For 18 years, Tesori Italian Pottery has been Denver’s go-to source for Majolica, a hand formed and hand painted pottery direct from workshops in Tuscany and Umbria. Sadly, the company is closing up shop and holding its last sale on Saturday, September 22. All pieces will be discounted 50% to 70%. Tesori stocks both classic and contemporary works. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, FirstBank is planning a series of Fiesta Friday events. FirstBank’s seven Spanish Banking Centers will be hosting celebratory events for one Friday afternoon (from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) starting September 14. The beauty that is a Japanese kite flies over the skies of Denver’s Lowry neighborhood during the Japanese Kite Flying Festival on Sunday, September 16. From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., you’ll both learn about the risks of young adult driving, what Graduated Driver Licensing is and how it impacts you and your teen. how adding a youth driver impacts insurance (really important!), and tips on how to teach your young driver to be safe.
