How to Get Four Free Menu Items at Burger King ($10 Value)

POSTED BY
Bryan

It doesn’t take a genius to know that this offer from Burger King is a win-win for all — a donation for a good cause (school supplies and scholarships!) for FREE food. The Burger King Foundation is a U.S. based public nonprofit that “believes through education you can explore your full potential and live life Your Way.”

To raise funds for the foundation, Burger King is offering four FREE menu items for a donation of just $1 at participating locations, while supplies last — from September 8 to October 17, 2025.

The donation option is available in-restaurant and via the BK app.

The donation includes four coupons for the following:

Note: Each offer requires an additional purchase of $1 or more.

FREE Small Soft Serve Cup or Cone — reg. $2.29

FREE Small Soft Drink — reg. $2.29

FREE Small Fries — reg. $2.89

FREE Chicken Nuggets (4-ct.) — reg. $1.99

The coupons expire November 30, 2025.

So far it appears one cannot make multiple $1 donations to get multiple sets of digital coupons, like one could do back in the days when they had $1 printed coupon booklets for Halloween. I made a $1 donation at a BK app order checkout and received the set of 4 coupons in my BK app under Offers. I made another separate $1 donation but did not receive any additional coupons. I have now used two of the coupons, but they were not replaced by any from a second set. I still need to try making another $1 donation to see if I receive any additional coupons, now that some coupon slots are free. I (instead?) might try to use up the last two coupons and then make another $1 donation to see if I then receive another set of coupons. The BK rules/notes seem to imply that a customer can receive only one set of coupons in total but seem not to explicitly state that, if I recall. The BK Foundation seems like a worthy charity, but they are limiting the donations they will receive by limiting the number of coupons a customer can receive as a result. Also, one has to wait a whole hour after using an offer or coupon through the app before being able to use another one, at least at my nearest BK (Rewards from accumulating Crowns or Points can be redeemed independently).
