Update: 15% Off Tickets Code – British Police Invade Denver to Promote New Low-Cost Norwegian Airlines Service

POSTED BY
Laura

Updated with a special 15% off promo code and instructions on how to use it are at the end of the post. Flying to London just got a whole lot cheaper, thanks to new nonstop service between DIA and London Gatwick on Norwegian Airlines. How cheap? Airfare starts at just $199 each way, which is crazy! To promote the new service, Norwegian is dropping several British Bobbies into the city (think typical British police, unarmed, with the rounded caps, etc).

These patrol men and women will be “ticketing” Denverites who aren’t exhibiting good British behaviors – drinking coffee instead of English tea, sporting an American football jersey instead of the traditional sport of football (soccer to we Yanks), etc. The tickets include a 15% discount on the new nonstop service. And one hero Bobby will be surprising a few lucky Coloradans with FREE, FULL airfare.

The Bobbies will be on patrol Saturday & Sunday, July 15 & 16, near the 16th Street Mall and LoDo. So, you may want to stroll the area and catch their attention. If you miss them or can’t make it downtown, you can still use the promo code BOBBIESDENVER to get 15% off flights. To get the deal, you need to book by July 21.

Here are details on the new air service. Norwegian will offer nonstop flights two days a week (Tuesday and Saturday) in September and October and expand to three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) starting in November.

Economy fares start at $199 each way, including taxes and every airfare includes one piece of carry-on luggage. Checked baggage starts at $45 for economy tickets.

The Low Fare option doesn’t include meals/drinks, checked bags or advance seat assignments. You can opt for all three in a bundle or buy just the ones that are important to you.

Norwegian will fly new Boeing 787 Dreamliners, probably the most comfortable airplane in the sky. Every seat includes in-seat entertainment, power outlet, USB charging and ample leg room.

Here are instructions on how to use the code. You can also download the instructions by clicking here. I just tried it and it definitely works!

Step 1: Log on to Norwegian.com, plug in your city pair (the two cities you want fly between) and select the “Show Low Fare Calendar” option. Click on the red “Search and book” button.

Step 2: At the bottom of the page that lists your flight options, type in the promo code BOBBIESDENVER in the box that asks “Do you have a campaign code?” and click on “Show campaign prices” to see the available fares. You then may want to scroll through the calendar to find the lowest fares.

Step 3: Select your flights and you are good to go!

BOBBIESDENVER doesn’t seem to take an additional 15% off. Anyone know how to get the code to work?

There is nowhere on the www.norwegian.com website to insert ANY “Promo Code”, so don’t know how to utilize the “Promo Code” BOBBIESDENVER to obtain the 15% discount which the article on MHOTC states we can obtain. HELP!?
