Here’s yet another family-friendly movie night under the Colorado stars! Boulder Creek Festival is thrilled to announce their collaboration with Sundance Film Festival – one of the first Sundance activations since moving to Colorado. The two organizations are co-hosting a FREE Creekside Movie Night on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Bring a blanket or chair, settle in under the stars and enjoy a laid-back atmosphere with friends. The bar will be open, along with non-alcoholic drinks.
On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the two organizations will co-host a FREE Creekside Movie Night with a screening of the cult-favorite comedy Napoleon Dynamite — starting at 7 p.m. RSVP here.
Then, in conjunction with City of Boulder, Boulder Creek Fest will also host a FREE Creekside Movie Night with a screening of the family-friendly hit Zootopia 2 on Sunday, May 24, 2026 — starting at 7 p.m. RSVP here.
Films will be screened in the green area near the North Library parking lot (the building north of the Boulder Main Library, home to the Canyon Theater).
