Gardeners can gather their own bison manure (Bison pies) for fertilizer courtesy of the Denver Mountain Parks Foundation. The FREE event is Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Genessee Park North Bison Pasture in Golden. Bring a shovel, bucket, and gloves. Take home what you need. Organizers will have some helpers on hand and some lawn and leaf bags if you need one.
