Climbing and Mile High City culture will meet at BASECAMP Exchange on Saturday, August 16, 2025, for a day to celebrate adventure film, movement and outdoor gear. This FREE event will feature Boulder-based professional climber Kai Lightner and three world-premiere Reel Rock 19 climbing films, paired with food from Borderless Food Trucks and drinks.

Basecamp Exchange will be held from noon – 4:30 p.m. at BASECAMP Market Station.
Schedule for the day:
12 p.m. — Event Kick-Off in The Paseo with pop-up retailers, food trucks, and the bar program
1 p.m. — Keynote speech by professional competitive sport climber Kai Lightner
1:30 p.m. — Reel Rock 19 double screening – Death of Villains and Riders on the Storm
2:30 p.m. — Q&A with Kai Lightner
3 p.m. — Reel Rock 19 continues with The Cobra & The Heart
4:15 p.m. — Explore and shop BASECAMP Market Station’s outdoor and wellness brands, along with a curated Reel Rock x Kai Lightner pop-up merch shop
The event is free and open to all, but advanced registration is required here.
VIP tickets are $20 each, which includes event access, a guaranteed reserved seat for the Reel Rock 19 Film Premiere, and access to the Kai Lightner Meet & Greet.
