Here’s a chance to celebrate local visual artists, musicians, dancers and a few surprises…all without ever leaving your car. The Avalon Drive-Thru Art Event is set for Saturday, September 26 from noon to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of Boulder’s Avalon Dance Ballroom. More than 60 local talents will be on hand to entertain as you drive through the lot on a prescribed route.
There will be a limit of 50 cars per 20 minute intervals to stay within state-recommended safety guidelines. No pedestrian traffic allowed. The parking lot is covered so the event will go on regardless of weather conditions.
The Avalon Drive-Thru Art Event is FREE, but all vehicles MUST pre-register for a time slot. Get your tickets here. Last entry time is 3:40 p.m. Each occupant in the car must wear a mask.
