A thrift store in Castle Rock is quietly helping many Douglas and Elbert County residents in need. Treasures Thriftque is the retail arm of the Help & Hope Center. It collects donated apparel, home goods, shoes, toys, jewelry, books and more — enough to fill its huge retail store. Fritzler Farm Park in La Salle has tons of things to do, including a 15-acre corn maze — an attraction unto itself. This place will keep you and the family occupied for hours and hours.

Which Colorado Grocery Stores Will Be Sold If The Kroger – Albertsons Merger Goes Through. Here’s The List

No one is sure if or when Kroger (owner of King Soopers) and Albertsons (owner of Safeway) will merge. It’s been two years since announcing their plan. Then, the Federal Trade Commission and a number of states, including Colorado, sued to stop it. Now, Kroger and Albertsons have released a list of which stores they plan to sell to C&S Wholesale Grocers ahead of an August trial.
