Take a step back in time as Aurora opens DeLaney Farm to the public on select days. The DeLaneys were Irish immigrants who homesteaded here in the late 19th century. Come tour their historic farm, learn about life in the plains of Colorado. There will be crafts, snacks and scavenger hunts in the education barn, and tours of the Gully House and Round Barn.

The historic farm is an example of homesteading (circa 1870) and includes the Gully Homestead House and DeLaney Round Barn (the only round barn still standing in Colorado).
Plan to spend 45 to 90 minutes here.
Here’s the 2026 schedule:
Saturday, August 8 — 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 5 — Noon to 3 p.m.
Sunday, October 11 — 9 a.m. to noon.
Staff and volunteers also are on hand to answer questions about the farm and its structures.
There is a port-a-potty on site.
