The Adams County Fair, which dates back to 1888 and is now the largest county fair in the state, runs Wednesday to Sunday, July 31 to August 4, 2024. Entry to the fairgrounds and most of the jam-packed schedule is FREE, but the Professional Bull Riding, Truck Pull, Demolition Derby and Charreada Mexican Rodeo are ticketed events (ranging from $10 to $25).
A concert by Nate Smith is on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Tickets are free, but you should reserve them in advance.
Senior Day is on Thursday, August 3 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Waywire Dome. Guests 55 and older may enjoy a FREE lunch, then enjoy a lineup of special activities. We’re told parking for seniors will be free that day, too.
Friday is designated Kids Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring bounce houses, petting zoo, entertainment, meet and greets with local sports mascots and Water World water activities.
Wristbands good for unlimited carnival rides are $20 on Friday before 3 p.m. for kids and valid until 4 p.m. The unlimited ride wristband is $25 on Wednesday, $30 on Thursday and $35 for the rest of the fair.
Hours are 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday and 10 a.m. to midnight the rest of the week.
Parking is $15 (prepaid) or $20 (onsite) per car at the Regional Park. But FREE off-site parking with FREE shuttle service is available from Prairie View High School, Riverdale Ridge High School and Shadow Ridge Middle School.

The above phone numbers for fair info Adams county are a persons private number as I called both and got a person. Also parking is free for seniors on Thursday senior day and the event is in the dome, not on the lawn. I just wanted you to know the correct info as I called Adams cty. to verify. Thanks
Thanks for the update. We have edited the post. Senior’s Day was listed as being on the lawn at the time we first posted, but it has been moved into the Dome…a good thing. — LD
