Need to get home repairs done on a budget? Unfortunately, the grim news continues, yet another store in the Denver metro area is closing its doors. (Will it only be Target and Walmart in the future?) This time, the Ace Hardware at Gardens on Havana (1150 S. Ironton St.) in Aurora is going out of business. The store is officially closing on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

UPDATE: We visited the store on September 25, 2025 and the shelves are about a third full, but they’re clearing out quickly. Word has gotten out about the sale, so the bargain hunters are swarming everywhere.
Based on our experience, we expect most things to be cleared out by late Friday or early Saturday morning.

Close Out Sale
As of now, everything in the store is 70% off.
The only exceptions are grills, pizza ovens and all Stihl items. Those items are 30% off.
The store is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hours may vary as the closeout sale continues, so be sure to check first.
All sales are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges are allowed at this location or any other Ace Hardware.
Now’s definitely the time for bargain hunters to go shopping for the best deals on many items needed for household repairs, painting, gardening and more!
