Now is a great time to join AARP. It offers many more benefits than you most likely know about. For instance, there are lots of deals on local attractions, and if you use just a couple of these you can pay for the cost of your annual membership. (Read on to learn about those!) Also, right now, AARP has a special Labor Day Sale. Pay just $11 per year with a 5-year membership. That’s a savings of up to 45% on the standard annual rate of $20. The offer ends September 9, 2026. The membership is billed as one payment of $55. Sign up now.

AARP Benefits

AARP serves its members in several ways. It’s a leading advocate for issues that matter most to adults 50+, including Social Security, Medicare, fraud protection and consumer protection.

In addition, AARP members receive discounts, including:

  • Hotels
  • Car rental
  • Valvoline oil changes
  • Allstate Roadside
  • Restaurants
  • Walmart+ membership
  • Much more

Local Deals

Your AARP membership also gets you discounts and deals on many local attractions, restaurants and retailers in the Denver/Boulder area. These are some great deals and can pay for your annual membership very quickly.

  • Buy one ticket to the Colorado Railroad Museum and get one free
  • Buy one ticket to Denver Firefighters Museum and get one free + 10% off in the gift shop
  • Buy one ticket to Byers-Evans House Museum and get one free
  • 50% off tickets (up to 4) at Museo de las Americas
  • 50% off tickets to the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver
  • Buy one ticket to Pirates Cove and get one free
  • Buy one child’s ticket to WOW Museum and get one child’s ticket for free
  • 25% off ski or snowboard rentals or demos at Breeze Ski Rentals
  • 15% off meals at Denny’s
  • 15% off at Cici’s Pizza
  • 25% off total bill at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue
  • Buy one lunch or dinner at Sam’s No. 3 and get a second lunch or dinner for free
  • Many more

These are just a small sampling of the local deals available to AARP members. Find more local deals here. They can change, though, so it’s a good idea to call before you show up with the coupon from AARP.

A little known fact: Although AARP is geared toward serving people who are 50+ years old, anyone at least 18 years old can join.

Remember: sign up through this link and you’ll get five years of membership for just $11 a year.
