The entire family will have a “purr”-fectly good time at the cat-centric Festival of Felines on Saturday, July 29 at the Cat Care Society (5787 W. 6th Ave.) in Denver. Admission is FREE. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., view the 2017 Painted Cats (and vote for your favorite), tour the Veterinary Cat Clinic and play with real live kittens! Plus, enjoy FREE face painting and crafts for the kids, as well as complimentary refreshments. They’ve also added a craft fair to the festival with handmade jewelry, wall quilts, notecards, throw pillows, paintings and more. Even more “purr”-fect, 100% of the proceeds will benefit the shelter cats. Meow!
