Celebrate World Tai Chi & QiGong Day in Broomfield on April 26

Millions of people across more than 80 countries will unite on Saturday, April 26, 2025, for World Tai Chi and QiGong Day, creating a powerful “healing wave” that will spread across the planet. In the metro area you can join in at Broomfield’s Anthem Park starting at 9 a.m. This global event promotes health, wellness, and a deep sense of community.

Participants can enjoy demonstrations from a variety of schools in the area. Take part in guided Tai Chi and QiGong sessions and try playful guided push hands.

Here is event schedule:

Opening

9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Participants arrive and make their way to the field west of the shelter. Traditional Chinese Xiao Flute performed by Chris Rippey

QiGong
9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Gong Played – One Breath… One World
10 a.m.

Gong played to symbolize the that our time zone has started.

Tai Chi Open Hand Forms
10:10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tai Chi Weapon Forms Demonstration
11 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.

  • 11 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. — Cane Tai Chi Demonstration
  • 11:20 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. — Saber Demonstration

Push Hands Training
11:35 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

Gong – Formal Closing
11:50 a.m. to 12 p.m.
