The pool party is sold out! Even dogs enjoy a dip in the pool every now and then. Okay, let’s be honest, many canines absolutely love the water! And pet parents can let their furry family members splash around big time at Water World. The popular attraction is hosting its annual Bow Wow Beach Doggie Day on Saturday, September 11 from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. — rain or shine.
Pups of all sizes are invited to the pool party.
Cowabunga Beach and Thunder Bay will be open for dogs to swim, splash and play. (They will also open Wally World especially for pups under 25 pounds.) Proof of current rabies vaccination and waivers must be signed prior entry.
The fun event is definitely worth barking about for Denver dogs, especially given the hot weather lately.
Tails will be wagging because tickets are only $9.99 per dog and humans are FREE. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Riverdale Animal Shelter.
Tickets are only available online. The number of tickets is limited per session. Tickets include the required vaccination form and release of liability release.
There are three timed entry periods:
8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Noon to 1:45 p.m.
Pet parents are allowed to bring:
Small play items, including tennis balls, throw ropes and small flexible discs.
Still cameras and video cameras, but no tripods allowed.
Collapsible bowls for food and water. (Bowls will be available with water throughout the park.)
Food storage coolers are prohibited.
Note: Attractions are not open and owners are not permitted to swim (ankle deep only) — only dogs will be allowed in the water.
