The city of Thornton’s signature event — Thorntonfest — is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carpenter Park Fields. The FREE event includes a craft fair, kids zone, live entertainment, Paw Fest, competitions, car show, beer garden and much more.
Marketplace Stage performances:
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. — BadCO
12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. — Guy, Norm and Friends
2 p.m. to 3 p.m. — Lies or Lullabies
3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Titonic
Kid Zone
Face painting, hands-on activities and educational items. Children’s amusements. Most are free, a few have a small fee.
Paw Fest
A specially-designed fair, with pet-related information, products, veterinary care, entertainment and shopping!
- National Canine Frisbee Competition
Hosted by the Colorado Disc Dogs. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the competition begins at 9 a.m. - Creature Features
These animal attractions could be furry, feathered or slimy — but they’re sure to be fun! Canyon Critters will be on-hand to answer questions.
Ninja Warrior Course
Come out and test your Ninja skills on a 120-foot long Ninja Warrior Course! There will be two lanes, one with easier, kid-friendly obstacles and the other lane will offer more of a challenge for the more advanced Ninjas. Cost is $5 for one attempt or $10 for unlimited attempts.
Birdie Ball
Staff from Thorncreek Golf Course present a fun way to try out your golf swing using giant inflatables.
Touch-A-Truck
This interactive venue gives children a chance to explore and learn about city vehicles, such as fire trucks, police cars and snowplows.
Nurf Terf
Challenge your family and friends and join others in the Nurf Terf arena. All equipment is supplied. Cost is $10 for three plays or $15 for unlimited plays. Pay in advance at nurfterf.com for a chance to win fun giveaways.
Skate Park Competition
This competition includes three skill levels in each of the following categories: bikes, scooters and skateboards. Helmets and completed liability waivers are required.
City Services Tent
Offers representatives from city divisions to provide you with guidance for your city-related questions. Booths will display information on topics from volunteer opportunities to police administration.
Car Show
Presented by the Twisted Steel Car Club and involves a huge display of custom cars.
Thornton Police Department’s Canine Demos
Will demonstrate their professional skills developed to help keep our community safe.
Festival Beer Garden
Enjoy an ice cold beverage along with live entertainment from the neighboring Marketplace stage.
