‘The Reset’ Invites Artists Of Color To Connect & Collaborate at Art Students League Of Denver

POSTED BY
Laura

Last September, the Art Students League of Denver (ASLD) launched a new event called The Reset, with a goal to build relationships and inspire collaboration by providing shared creative space for visual artists of color to learn and network together. Given the event’s overwhelming popularity, it continues into 2023 as a quarterly event, with the next one set for Friday, January 13, 2023.

Each event highlights different BIPOC artists from the community through lectures, demonstrations and/or interactive artmaking activities.

This event will feature faculty artists SA Bennett and Emeka Cook in conversation about art, industry, education, and culture, plus a drawing activity led by Bennett.

The Reset also features DJ Beloved spinning tunes, food and drink, and an opportunity to learn about the programs offered at ASLD.

The Reset: Winter 2023 edition runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at ASLD. It is FREE and open to the public with RSVPs encouraged.
