A few years ago, we wrote about The Local Deck — a low-cost way to get discounts at local hot sports (restaurants and attractions). So, we were soooo excited to see the box is back! This fun item is a box of cardboard coasters with special offers to the best local hot spots in each city. And it’s super simple to use, just buy a box, pick out a coaster and redeem at the location. Each coaster is a one-time use. Any box you buy now is good through the end of 2024.

The Denver box was created in partnership with the Denver Restaurant Association, so a true taste of the city. You’ll find discounts at Inga’s Alpine Tavern, Terra, The Post Chicken & Beer, Joy Hill, Duffeyroll, Brider, Wild Taco, Blue Agave, Wahoo’s Fish Tacos Jax, Il Posto and more. Cost is $20.
The Littleton box includes attractions and restaurants such as Cafe Terracotta, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center, Savory Spice, Smokin’ Fins, Viewhouse and more. Cost is $15.
The Fort Collins edition has Coppermuse Distillery, Purpose Brewing, The Post Chicken & Beer, Colorado Candy Company, The Welsh Rabbit Cheese Shop and more. Cost is $15.
For those of us who like to patronize small businesses and keep your dollars local, these are a great gift for yourself or to give to others. Plus, the Deck is a great excuse to try a new-to-you spot.
