Starbucks Changes Refill Policy — Here’s What You Need to Know

POSTED BY
Bryan

Can you get a complimentary refill at Starbucks? Such an important question for Starbucks lovers, especially because the café keeps raising its prices! There seems to be lots of confusion about the refill policy at Starbucks. Yes, it is true. Customers can enjoy a refill on the house, but there are a few rules. And Starbucks just updated its refill policy. Here’s what you need to know:

Photo: Starbucks

When you order any beverage “for here” (at Starbucks) it will be served in a coffee mug, glass or in your clean personal cup brought from home.

During your visit to that café, you will also be able to enjoy FREE refills of hot brewed or iced coffee or hot or iced tea at participating locations.

Refills are only available to customers who are enjoying their coffee or tea in-café.

Fine Print: “Free refill on hot and iced brewed coffee and tea during same store visit. Excludes Cold Brew and Nitro Cold Brew, Iced Tea Lemonade, flavored Iced Tea and Starbucks Refreshers base. Initial purchase must be made in a reusable cup or ‘for-here’ serveware. At participating stores.”

Review the refill policy here.
