SoundTrack Chamber Orchestra gives a concert, The Beauty of December, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts. This holiday concert, titled The Beauty of December, features an elegant variety of music with a winter theme. Admission is FREE and there is no ticket required.
Akin to an iPod on “shuffle,” the program will feature music from Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, The Red Skelton Show, Star Wars, Nutcracker, December Wishes, and An American Christmas.
The performance features vocalists Shannon McAleb, Heidi Schmidt, and Josie Gendill, along with many instrumental soloists.
Expect the unexpected, as most SoundTrack Chamber Orchestra concerts include wonderful surprises for the audience.
The SoundTrack Chamber Orchestra specializes in music from movies, television, stage, and other media that requires a soundtrack.
Previous concerts have included a variety of instruments including electronic keyboards, EWI (electric woodwind instrument), low whistle, recorder, otamatone, and bagpipes, as well as the traditional chamber orchestra instruments.
While entry is free, donations are appreciated.
