Sonic Drive-In Gives Away Free Eclipse Viewing Glasses

POSTED BY
Bryan

If you’re scrambling at the last minute to find eclipse viewing glasses for the big event today, head to Sonic Drive-In for a sweet treat and a complimentary pair of glasses. The fast-food restaurant is giving fans an out-of-this-world experience for the rare North American Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024 with the launch of its new Blackout Slush Float.

Featuring a sweet, cotton candy and dragon fruit flavored, all-black slush representing the temporary darkness from the solar eclipse and topped with creamy white soft serve and blue and purple galaxy-themed sprinkles, the Blackout Slush Float is available through May 5, 2024.

Plus, customers receive one FREE pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses with every purchase of the Blackout Slush Float, while supplies last. Limit one pair per float.

Many locations open at 7 a.m. Even better, they serve its entire menu all day long.

The Blackout Slush Float is $3.99. Price may vary by location. Unfortunately, because it’s a float, it does not qualify for Sonic Drive-In’s half-price drink special via the app.

Please verify glasses are available before ordering. We reached out to several locations and all had glasses available.
