It’s fall! And that means falling temperatures, falling leaves and fall cleaning! Time to safely dispose of unwanted personal documents at the Jefferson County Library Foundation’s (JCLF) fall Shred-a-Thon and recycling fundraiser. Bring up to three boxes or bags of paper documents to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds parking lots on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon.

All shredding is done on-site by Data Destruction.
There is no charge for shredding, but the suggested donation is $10 per box or bag.
Members of the Rotary Club of South Jeffco are assisting with the event.
Once again, the Foundation is partnering with Goodwill Industries to collect old electronics on site – and at no charge!
A collection truck will be at the Shred-a-Thon to take donations of small appliances, computers, monitors, cell phones and other electronic devices. However, no TVs or large appliances will be accepted.
