Shopping Fun & Deals at Boulder’s Girls’ Night Out

POSTED BY
Claire

Downtown Boulder hosts its second Girls’ Night Out with an evening of strolling, shopping and sipping along the beautiful Pearl Street Mall and adjacent blocks on Thursday, September 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Hang out in the Sipping Garden (1300 block), which opens at 5 p.m. with a DJ spinning popular tunes and an optional cash bar dispensing cocktails ($5), Oskar Blues beer or wine (and mocktails ($2). The first 150 women in the Sipping Garden receive a tote bag full of goodies. A few of those bags  have extra special items gifted by participating retailers. These include a T-shirt from Savvy on Pearl, John Atencio key chain, lavender eye pillow from Jones + Co. Mercantile, gift bag from Jones + Co. Mercantile, $35 Chelsea gift card, $25 Shoe Fly gift card, $25 MomentuM gift card, 5 ring holders from Adorned and more

At 6 p.m., Guerilla Fanfare, a brass band, plays shoppers off to explore some 30 merchants and pop-ups from Adorned (jewelry) to Zeal Optics. Each one offers something free or value-added. The first five women to spend $100 or more at any of the participating retailers and return to the Sipping Garden with their receipt(s) have the chance to win one of the following:  $100 Barbara & Company Gift Card, $75 Zeal Optics Gift Card, stylish hand bag from Jones + Co. Mercantile, necklace from Adorned or a pair of Fjallraven Abisko Trekking Tights. Bring a receipt of $50 or more from any of the participating retailers to the Sipping Garden to receive a drink of your  choice (21+ or alcohol and one complimentary drink per person). Click here for a list of participating retailers and a map.
