Few things fit together like theatre and beer. And to prove it, The Wit’s Shakesbeer is back in town with the bloody, rebellious historical drama, “Henry IV, Part 1.” The frothy, hopped-up show, with notes of a bloody rebellion, is FREE.
Upcoming performances are Sunday, July 22 & 29 at 8 p.m. at Alpine Dog Brewing and Sunday, August 5 & 12 at 5 p.m. at Grandma’s House. Shakesbeer take a Shakespearean play, cuts it down to about an hour, performs it at bars and breweries and all of the actors imbibe before and throughout the show. Hi-jinx ensue. Because this event happens at multiple locations at varying dates and times, your best bet to catch a performance is by checking the Shakesbeer Facebook page.
