Here’s a great one for gardening enthusiasts itching for spring. McGuckin Hardware is hosting a FREE community seed swap on Saturday, February 3, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is a great way to kick off the upcoming growing season. This is the third annual such swap that is on the must-do list of local seed savers who would like to share, gardeners who would like to learn how to save seeds and even people who want to garden from seed.
Avoid bringing any seeds collected from hybrid plants, seed older than four years and of course, no GMO seed.
