Denver is always a trendsetter. And, thanks to Mayor Michael Hancock’s proclamation, Saturday, October 14 is the first-ever Breakfast Burrito Day. In honor of the popular to-go breakfast, Santiago’s is offering a breakfast burrito for $1.25 for the day. (If you’re wondering, the price is what a breakfast burrito cost, when the much-loved Mexican restaurant first opened back in 1990.) There is a limit of five burritos per person, so pick up a few extras for friends, family or co-workers. There are 28 locations in Colorado. Remember, Illegal Pete’s is giving away FREE breakfast burritos on October 14.
