RTD sent its first Light Rail down the tracks from I-25/Broadway to 30th & Downing some 30 years ago. As a thank you to the community, the agency is hosting a 30th Anniversary Party on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1514 California St. (the parking lot adjacent to 16th/California Station).
RTD’s GM/CEO Debra A. Johnson and elected officials will kick off the event and attendees can enjoy live music and games for children with food trucks nearby.
Of course, take the bus or light rail for convenience and to avoid finding (and paying) for parking.
