The Colorado Rockies take to Coors Field for their first home game on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Downtown Denver will be abuzz, many taverns and restaurants will open their doors for game viewing (starting at 2:10 p.m.) and there are several FREE parties you can attend either before, during or after the game.
First at bat is the McGregor Square Party. Located next to Coors Field, the Plaza itself will open at 8 a.m. with bars, a photo booth and pregame content on the big screen as well as the game. After the game, DJ duo Myxotic and Johhnie Ireland will perform from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Rally Hotel
Digital caricature artist in the lobby (plaza entrance) from noon to 2 p.m.
Live music in the lobby (Wynkoop entrance) — Jonah Wisneski from noon to 2 p.m. and James Drumm from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Milepost Zero
Opening early at 8 a.m. and featuring purple Rockies Grand Slam cocktail, plus additional drink and beer bucket specials.
Tom’s Watch Bar
Opening early at 8:30 a.m.

Or check out the Denver Union Station Patio Party. Designed for the entire family, the festivities will kick off on the Terminal Bar patio starting at 10 a.m. Enjoy a Rockies brat while listening to groovy, happy beats from DJ Tropical Waffle.
Game Day drink specials including an ice cold Jack & Coke and drafts from Ratio Beerworks, a Frozen Paloma, Frozen Blackberry Daiquiri or Frosé.
Free and open to all, guests can get their photo taken with Stilt walkers and at a baseball themed photobooth — and don’t forget to grab a scoop of purple ice cream from Milkbox Ice Creamery!

Mercantile Dining + Provision will be grilling up burgers and brats, with specials on Bloody Mary’s, mimosas and more
Ultreia will be serving up Iberico Mini Hot Dogs on a split top bun with curtido & caraway aioli along with Purple Butterfly Peak Flower infused Gin & Tonics
Stoic & Genuine will be offering Oyster Hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
