A relatively new Aurora community — Painted Prairie — hosts it’s biggest event, Prairie Harvest Fest, for a fifth year. Fun fall festivities will be underway on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at High Prairie Park. Enjoy a pumpkin patch, horse-drawn hayrides, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a farmers market, food trucks and more.
