It’s officially back-to-school season, so it’s also time for parents to get back-to-school clothing for the always growing students in the family. Join Patagonia Boulder (1630 Pearl St.) alongside Growing Up Boulder for a Kids Clothing Swap on Saturday, August 22, 2026 — from noon to 2 p.m. Mix up your back-to-school shopping this year and clean out your kids’ closet in one stop.

It’s the perfect opportunity for kids that have grown out of last year’s clothes and need the next size up to get the school year started right.
Here’s how the clothing swap works:
Bring your kids clothes no longer in use and trade for something new.
Swap one of your items for one of a number of gently used clothes from Patagonia and other brands.
Swap is a 1-for-1 set-up — give one, get one.
Here are the guidelines for the clothing swap:
Bring no more than three (3) items to trade.
Ensure the clothes are freshly washed with no major rips, stains or tears.
Clothing sizes accepted include baby sizes (6 months – 5T) and kids’ sizes (kids XS – XXL).
Any kids clothes will be accepted, including shirts, jackets, pants, etc.
Accessories will not be accepted, including hats and shoes.
