One Day Only — Apply For Free To State College & Universities

POSTED BY
Claire

Heading for college here in Colorado? Save a bundle by applying on Tuesday, October 13, which is Colorado FREE application day. All 32 public colleges and universities in Colorado, along with several private institutions, are waiving their fees for completed applications submitted between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on that Tuesday.

Each institution has a unique process to waive the admissions application submission fee. Visit the Colorado Free Application Day webpage to find specific information by participating institution. Read carefully and follow instructions to the T.

The high school graduating class of 2021 will also have the option to include or not include their SAT or ACT scores with their college applications as Colorado colleges have implemented a “test-optional” policy making the college application process even easier for students this year. To learn more about the test-optional policy click here.

All residents of Colorado who are applying for undergraduate programs at participating Colorado colleges and universities are eligible to submit their admission application.

Undergraduate programs include undergraduate level certificates, associate degrees, and bachelor degrees. First-time freshmen, transfer students, returning students, and applicants seeking a 2nd bachelor degree are all eligible.

Applicants for graduate level programs are not eligible.
