Northglenn Hosts Festival of Magic – Get Tickets Now!

POSTED BY
Laura

No tricks needed here, this event is a fun experience for the whole family, with lots of “oohs and aahs” from kids and adults alike. The City of Northglenn hosts its fourth annual Magic Fest on Saturday, August 15. The how-did-they-do-that? fun takes place at the Northglenn Recreation Center (11801 Community Center Dr.) from noon to 9 p.m. We are posting about this event well in advance because, the festival has moved to a pre-purchased ticket event with no more than 30 guests per group.

This year, Northglenn Magic Festival will include timed entry and the opportunity for guests to see four magicians presenting four different styles of magic plus a few other tricks along the way.

All guests in one time slot will travel together between locations and see four 20-minute shows and end with a few select magic vendors and Food Trucks. Every guest will learn a magic trick or two, plus get a take-away gift so they can practice their new skills.

The first show will be inside the DL Parsons Theatre and the following three shows will be outdoors.

New shows start every 30 minutes with up to 30 people per time slot. The full experience, including all four acts and checking out vendors, should be about 2.5 hours.

If you book a time slot from noon to 5 p.m. the Festival promises family friendly shows with more “kids audience appropriate material”. Time slots that start between 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. feature shows that are geared more towards adults with more complex magic and more adult humor.

Ticketed shows start at noon and go until 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 per person. You can buy your tickets here and should do so right away if this festival is of interest. This is a very popular event and with capacity restrictions, should sell out fast.

All guests will need a ticket, must bring and wear a mask, and will practice social distancing per current requirements.

If you are interested in “buying out” an entire time slot for your group, please contact Steven at sstokes@northglenn.org.
