Here’s a cool concept: Dinner with 5,280 humans at a Mile Long Table. Be a part of it on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the National Western Center at 5 p.m. The cost? Just $5.28 per person for a seat at the table. The table is a single, long table where people of all walks of life and diversities share a meal. The idea is to open up conversations and celebrate our shared humanity.

What’s on the menu you ask? Dinner will be served family-style.
You get Wrangler’s pulled BBQ chicken, vegetarian chili, chuckwagon cheddar potatoes, Olathe sweet corn succotash and classic cornbread — all provided by Serendipity Catering.
Following dinner will be music, birthday cake, art and surprises!
Gates open at 5 p.m. and dinner begins at 6 p.m.
You can buy tickets here. General admission is $5.28, but you can donate more if you wish. You must register in advance.
