Are you handy around the house? Celebrate Habitat for Humanity’s 50 years of impact and its longstanding partnership with Lowe’s. Join the home improvement store for fun, hands-on volunteer activities, including decorating materials that will be used in future Habitat home builds, at select locations (including Lakewood!) for one day only.

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Lowe’s is hosting the Habitat for Humanity celebration with lots family-friendly fun available, including food trucks, a balloon artist and more — from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Even better, the first 200 participants will receive a 20% discount on a purchase — with up to $200 in savings. The discount is only valid on July 25, 2026 for an in-store purchase.
Stay for as little or as long as you’d like. However, dress for warm weather, as it is an outdoor event. If severe weather is expected, the event may be canceled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Some volunteer activities may involve hand tools, so closed-toe shoes are recommended for those projects.
