The nation’s Sweetheart City, Loveland, Colorado, just gets sweeter with its Sweetheart Festival. For 80 years, Loveland has embraced sweethearts near and far. The city invites families and lovers across the world to gather in Downtown Loveland on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The lovely affair runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Enjoy live performances and music, a comedy show, craft vendors and indulge in beer, wine and cocktails, sweet treats and food trucks.
Be sure to visit 3rd Street in Foundry Plaza and watch ice sculptors at work, fire dancers by Torch Mouth, and a special QR code that unlocks exclusive promotions from downtown businesses.

Sweetheart Stroll – A Downtown Venue Crawl
If you stop by at least 5 of the 10 venue crawl locations and collect stamps, you can turn in your passport at the Visitor Center for a free, commemorative love lock to lock onto one of the love lock sculptures.

Little Miss Valentine & Little Mr. Cupid Contest
Check out the Little Miss Valentine and Little Mr. Cupid contest (Rialto Theater at 11 a.m.). Children ages 0-4 can dress up, ham it up on stage for a chance to win prizes. $10 entry fee.

Loveland Sweetheart Classic 5K
Run or walk solo or as a couple through Northern Colorado’s premier Valentine’s weekend race. Starts at 9:30 a.m., with fun, fitness, and a little romance for everyone.

Rialto Theater
Take in a screening of The Princess Bride — the perfect mix of romance, humor and heroism — at 3 p.m. Tickets are $14.
At 7:30 p.m. it’s Love & Laughter LIVE! as comedians Vinnie Montez and Lisa Lane take to the stage for an uproarious look at life and love. Tickets are $20. Get them here.
Sweetheart Ball
Step back in time at the historic Pulliam Building in downtown Loveland from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests are invited to dress in their finest vintage attire and experience an evening inspired by the 1940s golden age of romance.
The event features a 15-piece big band, a jazz lounge with live entertainment, period re-enactors, and more. Tickets are $99 per person and on sale here.

Group Wedding & Vow Renewal
Celebrate love at the historic Pulliam Building in downtown Loveland. Couples can tie the knot or renew their vows while guests enjoy live music, a festive atmosphere, and a heart-filled celebration of romance.
