Summer Food & Fun at LoHi Bazaar BBQ

POSTED BY
Claire

Summer fun didn’t end on July 4. There’s a lot of talent and energy left to coalesce this weekend, July 6 to 8, when the producers behind some of Denver’s top summer festivals (LoHi Music Fest, TheBigWonderful, Denver Bazaar, Top Taco and Chicken Fight) join forces to bring to the Lower Highlands community the FREE LoHi BazaarBQ.

The big party takes over seven blocks of 32nd Ave. between Zuni and Tejon streets for three days of shopping, music, dancing and food galore. Come ready to shop, as this will be the largest gathering of Denver’s most creative makers in one location.

Collaborating with Ole Hickory Pits, DiningOut Magazine Denver/Boulder will be curating the best BBQ the Front Range has to offer.

Themed out pop-up bars will serve fun twists on summer cocktails and great local beers. A variety of local talent from classic funk/jam bands to Colorado bluegrass, play all weekend long. Here’s the schedule:

Friday
Hangout under the Colorado summer stars, party with great funk music, and chow some of the best brats and BBQ of your life! The party starts 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday
9 a.m. | Music all day
11:30 a.m. | Market, BBQ, and Cowboy Glitter Bar open
9 p.m. | BBQ and Market close, street bars close at 10 pm

Sunday
9 a.m. | Music all day
10 a.m. | Kids Games open
11:30 a.m. | Market, BBQ, and Cowboy Glitter Bar open
6 p.m. | BBQ, Market, and Music close

Hours are Friday, July 6, 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 11:30 a.m.  to 10 p.m., and Sunday, July 8, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
