Larimer Square is très excité to be hosting A Taste of France on Thursday to Sunday, July 14 to 17, 2022, a four-day fête celebrating all things French and Denver’s official Sister City of Brest, France and Denver Sister Cities International. A mix of free and ticketed events, special art installations at A Taste of France will include an Air France vinyl mural by local artist, Adam Vicarel, a major chalk art piece by Steve DeOrio, an Eiffel Tower replica, and Projection Mapping by Deep Space Drive-In.
Enjoy featured music performances, including a set by Purnell Steen — the legendary Five Points jazz artist who is raising money with Denver Sister Cities International for a Brest Exchange in September — along with Dzirae Gold, Housewife, Maria Lopez, DJ Ellechemist, DJ Terry Rose, There Were Baers, and more!
Learn “the language of love” with two FREE French classes in Larimer Social taught by Alliance Française of Denver and French American School of Denver.
Corridor 44 will be transformed into Gate 44: A Pop-Up Bar Experience Presented by Air France for two nights on July 15 & 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The flight will last two hours and feature “Champagne For All” sponsored by G.H. Mumm Champagne, light bites, and free in-flight entertainment. Tickets are $75 per person — reserve directly via Corridor 44’s Eventbrite link (limited availability!)
Held in partnership with presenting sponsor Air France, highlight of A Taste of France will definitely be the delicious Brest Bistro Brunch prepared by James Beard Award winning chef Jennifer Jasinski at Bistro Vendôme and a FREE DJ set with Grammy award-winning French artist Cedric Gervais, both on Saturday, July 16.
A portion of proceeds from each ticketed event at A Taste of France will go directly to Denver Sister Cities International, the Alliance Française of Denver and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the French American Chamber of Commerce.
