It’s that time of the year again for pumpkin to show up on just about every restaurant menu — including drinks, sweet treats and just about everything else. However, interestingly, pumpkin bagels have been missing on Einstein Bros. Bagels‘ menu for seven years now. And the wait is finally over for pumpkin fans! The pumpkin bagel is making its triumphant return to the menu this fall 2026.

In its 7-year absence, that means a whole generation of kids have never experienced the fall treat at Einstein Bros. Bagels. And the bagel shop is making it right with them!
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, Einstein Bros. Bagels is giving kids 7 and under their first pumpkin bagel & shmear for FREE with any purchase at participating locations.
A bagel & shmear is regularly $4.39. Regular price may vary by location.
To get the giveaway, parents must mention “Pumpkin Kids Offer” when ordering on Saturday — in-bakery only.
And, if you’re kid is not a fan of pumpkin, Mom, Dad or an older sibling could easily enjoy the complimentary treat.
There is no mention of any fine print, but, based on our experience with other similar giveaways, we’re assuming there is a limit of one per child — each requiring an additional purchase. Plus, the child must be present to get the treat. We have reached out to Einstein Bros. Bagels for clarification. If we get a response, we will update the post accordingly.
