Last Day! Huerta Urbana Launches Pay-What-You-Can Flash Sale for Fall Equinox Farm Dinner

POSTED BY
Bryan

The sale has been extended! Huerta Urbana 2Gen Farm Incubator, the urban agricultural social enterprise from Focus Points Family Resource Center, will host its first Fall Equinox Farm Dinner on Friday, September 16 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The strolling dinner celebrates the Fall Equinox, Mexican Independence Day and Huerta’s bountiful autumn harvest.

The dinner will be held on Focus Points’ campus (2501 E. 48th Ave.) under the stars right in Huerta’s own urban farm. The fall feast’s goal is to raise funds for the social enterprise and its parent nonprofit, while bringing together the community for an evening to remember.

In the same inclusive spirit as its weekly pay-what-you-can Huerta Urbana Farmers Market, a flash sale with pay-what-you-can tickets for the dinner will be offered September 7 to 10 13.

Dinner will be provided by S.A.M.E. Café and Prieto’s Catering, a graduate business of Huerta’s sister social enterprise, Comal Heritage Food Incubator. Super Delicious Co. will be serving up the beverages.

Tickets are priced as follows and include entry to the event, a variety of seasonal food and beverages (adult and non-alcoholic), entertainment curated by the Athena Project, a $10 gift certificate to the Huerta Urbana Farmers Market, and a digital copy of the Huerta cookbook.

General Admission: Pay What You Can (up to $100 donation)

GA + Community: Pay What You Can (up to $200 donation)

In the spirit of inclusivity, Huerta encourages supporters to BOGO – Buy One, GIVE One – and double their impact by purchasing a ticket for themselves and a second ticket for a member of the community served by Focus Points.

VIP Table (up to 10 guests): Pay What You Can (up to $1,000 donation)

VIP Table + Community: Pay What You Can (up to $2,000 donation)

In the spirit of inclusivity, Huerta encourages supporters to BOGO – Buy One, GIVE One – and double their impact by purchasing a VIP Table for their crew and a second VIP Table for 10 members of the community served by Focus Points.

At the conclusion of the pay-what-you-can flash sale on September 10, ticket sales for the Huerta Urbana Fall Equinox Farm Dinner will close. Tickets are non-refundable and in the event of inclement weather, Focus Points will reschedule the event and notify guests of the new date within 30 days.

Individuals and businesses that are interested in partnering with Huerta or looking for additional information on the event should contact seynabou@focuspoints.org.
