How to Get Two Free Plays Every Day for ‘Starbucks For Life’ Game — Prizes Include Viral Glass Bearista Cold Cup!

POSTED BY
Bryan

You know it’s the holidays, when Starbucks’s popular “Starbucks For Life” game returns. And, this year, the annual game runs from December 8, 2025 to January 4, 2026. The grand prize is (of course!) Starbucks for life — a beverage or food item every day for 30 years! Even merrier, player can also win the recent popular viral glass Starbucks Bearista Cold Cup — among the 10 million prizes available.

For the first time ever, the “Starbucks for Life” game is an interactive experience with players competing in a 90-second virtual run, while snagging collectables and red cups to earn points. The more collectables gathered, the higher the score.

Review all of the prizes available here.

How To Play Starbucks For Life

Choose the city and avatar. Each week, a new city — Seattle, Milan, Tokyo and New York — will be featured, showcasing iconic Starbucks landmarks in each location.

Collect as many Starbucks red holiday cups as possible.

Complete menu item sets for bonus points. Gather all four featured menu items for extra points.

Play as many runs as you want to boost your score and climb the leaderboard.

While players can play unlimited games, only the first two (2) Prize Plays per day have the chance to win an instant prize. Any games played beyond the daily limit do not qualify to win an instant prize.

Players earn a Prize Play by making a purchase at Starbucks — up to two per day. There is also an opportunity to unlock extra Prize Plays by completing weekly challenges.

Each week begins with  one additional FREE Prize Play just for playing the game.

No Purchase Necessary To Play

To play “Starbucks for Life”, you must be a member of Starbucks Rewards. Join Starbucks Rewards here.

Customers can earn two plays per day without making any purchase at Starbucks.

How to play without making a purchase:

You must first be sure your Starbucks Rewards account is tied to the “Starbucks For Life” game.

Once your logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for “To enter without making a purchase, click here.”

IMPORTANT: All of these steps are required each time your request a FREE game play. And you can request two gameplays per day.

You will be redirected to another page — “Another way to play”. On this page, you will need to first “Select a Play Type” — choose from Daily Play or one of the weekly challenges.

Next, you will enter your first name, last name and e-mail address.

Finally, you will need to answer three simple multiple choice holiday-related questions.

Once all of the information is entered and the questions answered, hit “Submit”.

You will be directed to “You’ve earned a Prize Play”. No other steps necessary.

The Prize Play has automatically be added to your account. You will need to go back the “Starbucks For Life” page and find your requested gameplay under “Prize plays available” near the top of the page. Hit “Play now” and you’re ready to play the game.
