Wow, it is a year of birthdays! America is 250, Colorado turns 150 and Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park celebrates its 50th birthday on August 1, 2026, with a FREE party from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This special birthday party and exhibition opening honor five decades of preserving the community’s vibrant past while bridging the gap between local 20th-century history and modern-day Lakewood.
