Here’s one event where you need to watch out for brain freeze. Aurora’s Havana Street celebrates National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 21 from noon to 4 p.m. with a Frozen Treats Event. Participating shops will offer FREE samples of their frozen treats, including ice cream, custard, soft serve and yogurt.
Participating shops include: Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt (10601 E. Garden Dr.), Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream (1155 S. Havana St.), Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers (1103 S. Iola St.), Dickey’s BBQ Pit (soft serve, 10551 E. Garden Dr.), Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard (1105 S. Havana St.) and Snowl (1930 S. Havana St., #5-6.)
Be sure to pick up a registration form for a chance to win four season passes to Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park — valued at $720. Visit at least five of the shops (during the event) to sample their ice cream, frozen custard and frozen yogurt and each will stamp your registration form. Once your form has at least five stamps, deposit it in the entry box located at any of the participating shops to be entered into the drawing. No purchase is necessary to receive the complimentary samples or to enter the drawing
