Olde Golden Christmas merriment is apparent on Saturday, December 11 at 10:30 a.m. The Olde Golden Christmas parade features floats, elves, marching bands, Victorian carolers, antique cars, the Grinch, Buffalo Bill and, of course, Santa. The route is down Washington Avenue from 11th to 13th Streets through historic downtown. After the parade, grab lunch at one of the many restaurants.

In addition, there will be FREE carriage rides from noon to 3 p.m. Pick up point is on 12th Street between Washington Ave. and Miner’s Alley.
FREE (donations accepted) holiday Newfoundland dog cart rides will also be running. You’ll find the gentle giants in front of the Golden Visitors Center at 10th and Washington Ave.
