For those who still don’t have a Christmas tree because they can’t afford it, Arvada’s Echter’s Nursery & Garden Center is once again giving away FREE Christmas trees. Trees will be available on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. while supplies last. Echter’s is also giving away FREE ornaments, lights and tree stands!
If trees remain available, the giveaway will run on Wednesday, December 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
As trees are likely to go fast, you should stop by on Tuesday if possible.
Because this Christmas tree giveaway gets tons of media coverage, you may want to arrive early for your tree as there will likely be a crowd and the trees will go quickly.
They are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. There will also be free toys distributed to those in need.
Also, if you know of a family who could use a tree or toys, please share this info with them as well.
Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with the Arvada Dire Department will bring their holiday sleigh and fire truck to Echter’s on Wednesday, December 24.
Echter’s Nursery & Garden Center is at 5150 Garrison St. Arvada.
